The Property
Ahh, quiet. Except for the seasonal hum of equipment, as farmers plant and harvest their crops. You will soon recognize your neighbours by the make of their pick-up truck or the colour of their tractor. Be sure to wave, for we are a very friendly neighbourhood.
This is an older home, with every comfort for stays long or short. Upstairs there are three bedrooms giving you the choice of queen, double, or twin beds. The eat-in kitchen (with cupboards made from a hundred-year old walnut tree cut from the original old-growth forest) is outfitted with a full complement of appliances, pots, utensils, china and glassware. Pamper your dining mood in the cozy kitchen, the formal dining room, or al-fresco on the outside deck. A large living room, a snug reading room, or an enclosed sun room invites relaxation.
Centered on a spacious 2 1/2 acres, the landscaped property includes heritage lilacs, tulip, magnolia, and flowering crabapple. Unwind in the cool Pine Grove, recount the day’s adventures around a crackling outdoor campfire, or relax beneath a century - old maple which has witnessed the history of the family.
